Rodney Food Premises Grading

Posted: July 5th, 2009 | Author: barnaclebarnes | Filed under: Dataset | Tags: , , | No Comments »

Every food premise in Rodney has a food grading certificate. The Council is responsible for inspecting and registering the premises.

Each shop must clearly display their certificate of registration, which includes their food grading, so it is obvious to customers when they enter.

In an effort to raise awareness about the food grading system, Council will be publishing the names of all food premises and their grading. This will be done on a ward by ward basis.

The list of premises is in PDF.

Papakura Food Premises Grading

On 13 February 2006 Council resolved to introduce a performance assessment reporting and grading system for food premises.  The system was introduced on April 1 2006.

It is designed to measure a premises’ degree of compliance with the Food Hygiene Regulations 1974.  The degree of compliance is represented by an alphabet letter which is assigned according to the performance rating.  The letter or grade is printed on the food premises licence issued by Council.

This data file (In PDF!) is available for download directly but you can also contact the council for a copy (maybe in another format?)
